Received phone call saying had a fraud case filed against me in the county I live in.
They stated my county and a docket number?
I looked on other sites and all I could find was a listing of numbers that were considered unsafe by ip.
At the end of the call they claimed I've been served and to prepare accordingly.. but in order to serve someone a court order or summons in my state it has to be served in person to the person in question to make it offical and has to be done by a constable or in some cases a P.I.
I've now received two calls from that number. In both cases, they sounded like recorded messages rather than a normal, live voice. The sound quality was poor too, not like modern and genuine companies. The first time I didn't answer. They left a message with a harassing and intimidating tone (sounded like a white guy in his 20's or possibly 30's). It was short on details and specifics. The second time, I answered the phone and the recorded voice was less threatening, but said to press 1 for information.
If they are legitimate, they'll send a letter or something in writing. This is nonsense and crap to act (i.e. bogus) to play games over the phone. The losers need to get a real job.
(724)259-7320 and (407)720-4949
both numbers are the same scammers. called multiple times said he was multiple different people. said i had court immidatly but always had a different date. FAKE
Call coming in from Orlando, Florida according to my caller ID. Since I don't know anyone there and there's so many telemarketers and also scam artists calling people these days, I didn't bother answering and let the caller leave a message. When I later listened to it, the caller identified himself as Steven Johnson from Legal Services and said that a legal notice was going out "to this address" and would be served. Then it was cut off when he started to inform me of what would happen if I didn't respond but it was cut off. Nevertheless, he never identified who it was he was calling for or who the legal notice was for. Anyway, I certainly won't be responding. If Mr. Johnson is legit, he or his so-called Legal Services would have mailed out correspondence in the first place to the address they have on file.
They called my mother and told her Someone from the sheriff office said they will be sending out someone to serve Me. The number was 1407 7204949. Florida number. They were kirt. She gave them nothing. But they wanted her to fore warn me They had my name and warned me to put all big dogs away and a uniform police office will assist.
But if they wanted me, they'd send a letter. They don't CALL. They show up. [***]
Call rec'd on cell (not answered of course) but this guy left a long voicemail:
Hi my name Steven Johnson I'm with legal support services. I am calling about a legal notice which is scheduled to be serviced out to the address on file.
The individual that this legal notice is intended for will need to have one valid form of state issued identification on their person. Unfortunately if we are unable to locate the individual, this notice will then be served at through the place of employment, unannounced where a supervisor or manager will be required to be present to be as a witness.
We also may also be accompanied with the presence of a uniformed officer. This is done just to insure everyone's safety & we do request that any large animals or firearms on your premises that they do be put away and secured and for the safety of everyone involved.
If you have questions or concerns regarding this matter or if you would like to reschedule please do have yourself or your attorney get in contact with the claimants office at 352-389-1935.
First off he never says who the call is for, or what the notice is for, so this is a phishing expedition to scare someone into calling them back by saying he is with "legal support services" (of what company). It should be noted that the return number is also very likely a scam number too.
