Received phone call saying had a fraud case filed against me in the county I live in.
They stated my county and a docket number?
I looked on other sites and all I could find was a listing of numbers that were considered unsafe by ip.
At the end of the call they claimed I've been served and to prepare accordingly.. but in order to serve someone a court order or summons in my state it has to be served in person to the person in question to make it offical and has to be done by a constable or in some cases a P.I.
First off if someone claims they will serve with you an officer they would do it and not call you to tell you that they are gonna do it. Scam, scam, scam they are just trying to scare you. They even give you a fake "Case Number". As someone who works in law enforcement, don't give into these companies.
My son just called me at work said someone called from 407 720-4949 said they were coming to service papers at the address on file in 48 hours. Said they will be bringing a uniform officer and to put up all big dogs for everyone safety. Said if we want more information to call 352 389-1935. I called both numbers back the person answer the phone as Alex Pritchert. How can you stop these scams???

Call blockers are available as phones, apps (some free) and standalone devices.
