I received a hang up call from this number. When I called the number back I was ask to hold while the subscriber was found. The name was a woman's name going to voicemail. It was a cell phone.
Received a call from this number. The pre-recorded message said I won a free vacation to WDW & gave me code number 711. It said to press 1 to receive the vacation or hang up to be removed. I pressed 1 and a lady came on and ask whom am I speaking with. I said dont you know, you called me. She hung up.
I blocked this number without answering it. For me, blocking these unknown callers is quicker and more productive than filing a complaint with Do Not Call because I have never found that reporting these type of calls gets any action at all. Only problem with blocking calls is that I get so many from different numbers and I can only block 30 numbers. I tediously check all of the numbers I have blocked when I reach 30 so I can decide which ones to delete in order to block the newer ones coming in.
Our Panasonic phone allows blocking 30 numbers plus all that don't show caller ID. In addition, your phone company may allow you to block some additional ones. Time Warner allows 30, for instance. Unfortunately, even 60 doesn't do the job.
