i don't answer theses call. i Google the number and then "blacklist" the number in my Ooma internet phone service. this number will now receive an automated voice stating my number has been disconnected. no more call to my phone from this number no matter how many times they try!! Ooma rocks!
Yea, I hate this telemarketing type marketing. As for these people who call for 'Charities' where most of the money goes to the telemarketers - that's true. As for 'reputable charitable organizations don't solicit donations by phone' - that's true. Also - very sad but true - the amount those so called 'reputable charitable organizations' leave very little money to go to whatever charity they claim to represent. Most of the money that ALL charities collect goes to CEO's, administration, beautiful office buildings with the finest furnishings, etc., etc.. They're very, very profitable 'non-profit' organizations (businesses)...
