Who called from 4079650600

Have had multiple calls from this number to Halifax area in the past 2 weeks.  Never leave a message, just see the number on the call display...they have been calling in afternoon (noon-2pm) and then in the evening (between 5-8pm)

I got that number calling me today. thankfully they just hung up as soon as I asnwered it. I'm trying to call them back, but all I can say is that personally I wouldnt press 9, or whatever number that they are asking you. Its been on the news alot about when you press a certain number on your phone the scam artists can retrive all of your information.

I live in Great Britain. I received a call from this number but the caller hung up when I answered. How did they get my number and who are they?
