Indian accent says he is from Dell Support. I told him mine was fine and hung up. Found this number on other site also saying from Microsoft. Block this number !!
Been calling for the last few days - never leave a message. After them calling 8 times (twice today) I answered and after a pause, someone got on and claimed they were from Dell. Told them I did not have a Dell and told them to take me off the calling list. Reported this via the FCC web site (although by the time they investigate they will change their phone number, if it's not already spoofed).
Someone with an Indian accent claiming he's from Dell wanting access to my PC to check to an alert they received from security software they installed last year saying my computer is infected with a virus. Funny - Dell never installed security software on my PC, and never will. The same guy called a couple hours later saying the same thing, except now they were from Microsoft. When they call, the caller ID comes up either Dell, Microsoft, and even Apache County! This is a total scam! They are wanting to install software that will scan your hard drive and steal personal and/or confidential information and files!
