A recorded voice started to leave a message that a 3rd party might have use of one of our credit cards, and we should press a number, and enter our 16 digit credit card number. Hung up on it, sounds like a scam to me.

Got the call at 11:22 PM. I was already sleeping, so didn't pick up the phone quick enough. Screened/Listened to the message and the person said they were with Valley National Bank and a 3rd party accessed my credit card so please press 1 to connect to the security department.
BOGUS FRAUD.
I did a search and the other people found the same info as I did... some wiper company in CA.

People will be fearful at this late hour and chances are they will give these scammers their credit information!
i received a robo-call last evening. the recorded message said that my valley national bank visa card had been suspended due to suspicious activity. it then asked my to type in my 16-digit credit card number.
Call came in via call waiting, but I was on an important help desk call from work and I let it pass. Looked at the CID unit afterwards and saw the number. Always look suspicious numbers like that up on the internet and for this one I found this page. No message in voicemail. I'm sure they were going to give me the same line as the other people here. If someone whose caller ID name said IND WIPER SUPPL called to tell me my credit card was compromised, I'd hang up on them in a minute.
