Call came in via call waiting, but I was on an important help desk call from work and I let it pass. Looked at the CID unit afterwards and saw the number. Always look suspicious numbers like that up on the internet and for this one I found this page. No message in voicemail. I'm sure they were going to give me the same line as the other people here. If someone whose caller ID name said IND WIPER SUPPL called to tell me my credit card was compromised, I'd hang up on them in a minute.
got a call at 10:30pm automated person said that my debit card has been illegally been accessed and that in order to take the hold off my acct I would need to authorize the transaction. I hung up on them -- then called my bank to check my balance -- no issues -- will report this issue.
Called at 9:25 p.m. said automated voice said they were Vantage Credit Union and they were placing a hold on one of our cards, press one for the security dept. Didn't do it, but laid in bed thinking do we have any cards with them...NO ! Loooked up # this morning and found all of these comments, same as mine. Wish I would have looked this us last night, I would have slept better!

Received a call last night at 8:44 pm from this number and their automatic message claimed they were "Vantage Credit Union", saying my card had a temporary block on it due to some kind of failure, and please press "1" to be connected to their security dept. They left this as a message on our answering machine. Our local police dept said they might be targeting our area as most of them had personally received this call, and my neighbor also received this call. Police said sometimes they use "US Bank" as well.
