Call came in via call waiting, but I was on an important help desk call from work and I let it pass. Looked at the CID unit afterwards and saw the number. Always look suspicious numbers like that up on the internet and for this one I found this page. No message in voicemail. I'm sure they were going to give me the same line as the other people here. If someone whose caller ID name said IND WIPER SUPPL called to tell me my credit card was compromised, I'd hang up on them in a minute.
I received the same as above last week at 12:10am EST: "the recorded message said that my valley national bank visa card had been suspended due to suspicious activity. it then asked my to type in my 16-digit credit card number."
Call came in around 8:30 pm. Automated voice said debit card had suspicious activity and to reactivate it I'd need to enter my 16 digit card number. Assumed it was a scam and hung up. Contacted my bank to notify them of the scam.
Jsut got a call from this number. Said they were from South Eastern Bank and that my credit card may have been used by a 3rd party. IT asked me to push the "1" button but I hung up.
I Got a call from this # 1-408-286-4752 Caller ID on my phone said it was IND Wiper Supply. The recording said taht a 3rd party wastrying to access my dept card & I need to input my 16 digit debt card.
