A man with an Indian accent and a lot of background noise. The number that been left on my answering saying action was being brought against my husband by the "Department of Legal Affairs." My husband works out of town a lot so I called to try and handle the situation. The man was very rude and I ended up cussing at him. He ended our phone call by saying "I and my husband were going to be picked up in 30 mins." I cussed at him again and hung up. I contacted my local law enforcement and waiting on them to call me back.
Caller was a woman with an Indian accent with a lot of background noise. She started leaving a message on the answering machine saying the call was for "Mrs. (my last name)" and something about the "Department of Legal Affairs". My husband picked up the phone while she was leaving the message. She asked for "Mr. (my last name)" but, alas, my husband and I have different last names. She said something about the Treasury Department and threatened that I was about to get arrested. She didn't seem to appreciate all of the questions my husband was asking her. He hung up.

A man called my home while I was out. My eleve year old son took the call. A man named Adam Walker told my son that I need to call The office of legal affairs and if I did not I would be arrested. This upset my son tremendously. How do I get to the bottom of this?
Received a call from a woman with an Indian accent - lots of background noise - stating that she was from the Department of Legal Affairs.. I hung up on the caller. She called me right back and said nastily, "DO NOT HANG UP ON THIS CALL" "This is a legal call and you will bearrested if you don't cooperate". I told her that I would research the number and if I found it to be legitimate I would call back. She told me to ask for Landon Carter when I called. I did not call back. She called me a third time. I told her in a nasty voice, that I researched the number, I know this is a scam call ... click. She hung up before I could finish my sentance.
Received a call from a woman with an Indian accent, told me she was from Legal Affairs in California, told me that if i didn't call them back at the number she provided, I would be arrested and put behind bars. Asked her who was making charges, she wouldn't give me that information and told me that I'd find all that information at that number. Left the phone to check the legitimacy of the call, when I came back she had hung up.
