Call came in at 1:15PM CDT showing "Lower Interest Rates" in the Caller ID window. Nothing like giving away the game right from the start! The number is now safely in the Blocked Caller list. The Do Not Call list does nothing to stop these scammers.
I received 2 calls form this number tonight. One at 10:28 pm and 11:54 pm. We can put a stop to liens, bank levies and wage garnishments in minutes. To cut your tax debt in half........It is a recording and they left a voicemail for me. Caller ID just show phone number but no name.
same message on my land line phone tonight at 10:29 and 11:53 p.m They left message on my machine. I know I do not owe anyone for taxes. I have a pregnant daughter and elderly parents. Calls late at night scare us. Same scam was last year for credit card info, now it is this one. Reporting does not stop, changing phone # and blocking does not work. I have tried all. My phone only accepts a few numbers to be blocked. I am sick of paying taxes to persons that cannot stop this constant aggravation. If all reported scam numbers were checked out to us who pay bills...I could make a fortune for each one I was able to track. STOP THIS AT ONCE. for us that have tried the do not call list and report each number to whomever is paying attention to this reported site for us!! Please start doing something and let us know. Called about Tax Debt at 10:45 p.m. Pressed 7 to be removed from their call list. Called again at 11:45 p.m. the same night. Tried to hang up but the phone would just continue to ring, like it would not disconnect. I again pressed 7 to be removed from their list. Most of us know that when the phone rings at 11:45 at night that is is most likely not something good on the other end....my adrenaline was pumping and could not go back to sleep for quite awhile. I wish I could wake them up at 5 a.m. when I get up for work!
