I received a call as well, and didn't receive a voice mail either. On my iPhone it says from South San Francisco Bay Area. I live in TX and don't know anyone from there so I don't know why I would have received a call from there.
i was looking for assistance in my area (tx) as we have just moved and finding a job has been problematic. and when i put in my info i guess it was a phisher site cause i started geting calls from this number and others as well... asking about schools, etc. i did not give permission nor do i care about what they are offering. school is only going to complicate my current situation. now the number 408 418 5679 has called 3 or 4 times today and when i have answered, no one will say anything. its becoming a very sore topic for me.
Ares code 408 is for San Jose California. But I don't know anyone at this number. I live in Alaska and have been here 4 years now. They call alot and never leave a message. My phone is a Trac Phone so I make every minute count. I wish all these off the wall number would stop calling me.
