caller ID says: City of San Jose. Woman said she is from the Home design Center in Concord, Calif. and they are a remodeling company. I asked if they were part of the City of San Jose govt and she said "we route our calls through them" but when I asked for more information about her company she abruptly hung up on me. I called the number and got an answering message. THIS IS A CRIMINAL SCAM.
This number called my home phone three times today. ID is Santa Clara City. I answered the first time and a live person said she was calling from the Home Design Center in Gilroy. I hung up. Didn't answer the other times.
