Caller ID said "Santa Clara City". I didn't answer the call, and as soon as my answering machine answered, the caller hung up. Based on other comments here, it's clear the call was from a fraudster!
Not a legitimate caller. They will never reach me by phone. My phone numbers are on the DO NOT CALL list, and I mean it: if I don't know them personally, don't call. Since they don't respect the DNC list, I put them on my personal "DNA List" (DO NOT ANSWER list). I don't know who they are, nor do I care. This category of phone-caller tries to get you to empty your bank account into theirs. Don't fall for it. Never give out personal info over the phone, including surveys. Surveys sell whatever info you tell them.
Some of us, more intelligent than scammers, actually WORK at legitimate jobs we created for ourselves or others created; we are more interested in advancing our careers rather than learning how to steal. I, like others, worked menial jobs to get where I am. I paid my dues. These scammers are out for the fast buck, and it is not going to work. I work towards protecting my bank accounts and others', from fly-by-nighter thieves. They are "Mafia."
Losers, get a real job. You, and your kind, deserve to starve to death. I don't give a flying F if you live or die. Worthless-pieces-of-filth: do everyone a favor and kill yourselves. My curse for you marginalized-nobodies, your extended family, friends, and acquaintances is, every last one of you: suffer prolonged, painful, debilitating, bankrupting, hideous, never-healing gangrene, deformities, and death. Go to Hell -- Do Not Pass Go.
