The person that called me (at work), claimed to be a Frank Martin, this person had a heavy indian accent. He had my ss# and said fraud was being committed with it. He wanted me to swear to an affidavit over the phone and I refused and told him I would call him back. I alerted my local police who agreed that this is a scam. No law firm would ever tell you that you have to swear to an affidavit over the phone and that they cannot send you any paperwork. A law firm would contact you by phone and mail with written documentation. He claimed if I did not call him back the same day, he would send an officer to my home and/or place of business to have me arrested.
That same number called me left a message that he was from law office. He said that it was a FBI on me about some knid of loan. He asked me did I have a lawyer about the lawsuit against me and I told him no BUT when I asked him about what the loan and lawsuit came from and what was it for. The [***] hung up the phone on me and didnt answer when I call the number back. There was a girl no to far from me the same thing happen to her and she gave them money. Dont send these people your money. But there was one thing that me and the other lady had in common is was we just had got new cars so these people are getting you information when you go to buy a car. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR INFORMATION.
I have had the same calls from the same [***] and he is probably reading this so I hope he is man enough to tell me where he lives because I already informed him I would put my foot where the sun don’t shine. They have my cell number, they have my work info, and it is so sad that they do not even have a life that they have to defraud others. I have had calls from a couple of other places but to be honest it sound like the same jerk and I will get the law involved…the real law. I keep calling them and harassing them and trust me they do not like it so one day they will change the number and not call us again. So to all take my advice, get an attorney and keep calling them and just sing when they pic up hahahahaha good luck to all
Oh and this guy calling from 408-459-3272 is stupid, the recoding say’s it’s the lawing office Dept….what an idiot
