•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.
Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Called me at 7:37a.m..left voice mail that said I had an irs, social security matter and that they were sending officers to arrest me tomorrow morning if I didn't call back. Needless to say I am not calling back, and reporting them to the IRS, the FTC, ca. Atty. Gen, and local police. This is a scam, and I am sure it works on sime uneducated, or elderly person. We have to report these people, to protect others.
