Received a call from 775/980-6675 telling me to call this 408 number for carpet cleaning. Both numbers belong to Rocket Marketing who is known to 'spoof" the caller ID number.
This outfit calls several times a week using several different calling numbers. I have had calls from Area Codes 951 and 775. The loud spiel for carpet cleaning says to call a number in area code 408 or 951. It is really getting annoying, to say the least. The Caller ID usually shows as Creative Market
Carpet cleaning service. Calls 2 to 4 times a day but does not leave a message until you say hello twice. Same message for 916 telephone number. Why can't FCC use a computer to trace these calls to the originators to put them out of business?
Get calls frequently from this number. However that's NOT the number on CID. Starts off w/recorded message about carpet cleaning & to call the 408 number to make an appointment. I think it's called spoofing.
What good is the No Call List these days??? If they call again, I'm filing a complaint w/ FCC, for all the good it will do.
