I have received these calls for about 3 days now and at first they told me that I had a payday loan with someone and that I was being sued for non payment . I told them I hadn't ever had any payday loan and they told me that if I didn't pay 1500.00 then I would be arrested within 4 hours , I told them I couldn't afford that and never had a loan again so they transferred me to a person named federal agent brown and he proceeded to threaten me with being arrested and charged with fraud and theft . He then told me my bank account number , routing number , my Ssn and my employer , and my children's names and wife's name and told me that I was lying and trying to steal the money . I told him I would call him back after I talked to my bank and my lawyer , when I contacted my bank I found out that they had taken over 700.00 out of my accounted and that caused all my bills to be returned and cost me almost 1500.00 to straighten out all the overdraft and returned check fees . They called me back and I posed as a police officer and told them that they were the ones committing the crime and stealing and that they were trying to scam me agent brown then started laughing and hung up the phone . I then called them back numerous times and harrassed them the way that they had done me for the past few days . I don't know what to do now to straighten this whole mess they've caused me and how to get the money back that that costed me for having to pay all the fees at the bank . Does anyone kno who I could contact or what I can do to fix this and get them in trouble ?

Tproffit28...call ur bank and tell them your situation. They will refund all the overdraft fees and money these [***] took from u. I'm sure the Bank will reimburse u for your lost since it wasn't your fault. As far as getting these scumbags in trouble its not likely cause they are overseas probably in "Pakistan" and these countries government doesn't cooperate with ours. It's a sad situation to be in cause u feel violated and helpless. Continue to monitor your accounts, credit, and don't ever stop complaining to authorities about your situation. We have to stick together and make more people aware of these scams. Remember this is there full time job to scam innocent gullible people.
I had the same situation, I got a call from a guy who claim to be a representative from a Lawer. so he told Me that I was being investigated and going to be arrested at my job on Monday and that he wished me good luck. he also said the reason why I was being arrested was because I took a loan and never paid it back so I asked him to send me proof and date of that and he said he couldn't and became every angry. he said to get an attorney cuz I was going to need one. I told him to come arrest me cuz he Waz full of [***] and that he can come before Monday cuz he was not getting one penny From me. we have to becareful cuz this guy which sounded Indian was trying to do a scam and make people pay money. anyone have same or similar problem?
