It is actually a call from Apple support. It was the lady who is helping me with my iMac problem. I actually spoke to her when she called me from this number.
it's obviously a fake Apple otherwise it would state you're calling Apple. Apple senior advisors give you an Apple number to call them with a seven digit extension number. If they don't answer, they state their first and last name to leave a message. This is a scam to get into your computer. They are using Apple's remote information and then you don't see their red arrow and they tell you they can't connect which they do connect to get your router information and wifi/hardware addresses. This way they can add software to your computer and even if you have it erased, they will be able to use Remote Desktop since they have your computer information. They also attach Bluetooth so don't use a cordless phone because they will redirect your call to a phony Apple.
