Got the same phone call and threatening. I said go ahead,,, see you in court!.. never got a phone call again.

"I took a payday loan from Discount Advances a couple of months ago. Since then I have been geting harrassing, rude, mean and very annoying calls from someone who says they bought my information from CashNetUSA, you. I will pay off this loan and no longer use your service and I will post this information all over you website to let other unsuspecting people know you sell their information. I realize Cashnet is several different payday loan companies but I will get on every wesbite and post this letter and continue to report the numbers on the "800notes"  website. (read the website)

There is nothing worse in this economy than a group supposedely helping, selling your most vital private information.

I have 11 names of people who have called along with 7 different numbers they called from and the cities calling from. I have notified their local phone services, the FCC and their state FBI Fraud team with all the information and when it started.

If you can prove that you were not the ones to give out my info I will not report you to the FBI and my AG office and the BBB of my state and the real Federal Internet Investigative Team in Washington DC.  Whoever is running this scam is in southern CA and incase you didn't know, everything is traceable these days. "

I'd agree with that. Don't understand what this Sister2 is talking about. I've had very positive experience with PaydayLoans50.com.  The only decent comparison site I know of.  They don't have a user login area anyway, so they can't store any information about the user. And CashNetUSA are a bona fide lender, so they would never sell on personal information to a third party. Just my 2 cents.  Jake.

Actually I've only taken out one payday loan and that was with CashNetUSA and since then I've been receiving these relentless calls.  They call from different phone #s too.  CashNet says they are aware of this and advised me not to provide any information...but it doesn't change the fact that they sold my personal information.  Otherwise how could they have obtained it?  Either they sold it or they need to beef up their internet security to ensure hackers don't have easy access.  Either way it's their fault.
