Who called from 4087963236

This number called me, but I didn't answer. No information available. When I tried to call back I got a strange signal and it just disconnected.

Answered and got dead silence.

Call from "Merchant account services" likely asking if i have/need credit card processing or want to switch. (they called my business line....)

This number called my business line and left a message, claiming to be "Jackie with Merchant Services" calling to speak to the person in charge of my VISA/Mastercard merchant account, and saying that "a rate increase may have been applied to your account", and to please call 855 270 9974 x 7774 . After she read the spiel, also in my recorded message, she says to someone else, "What are you doin'? You got something?"  DEFINITELY a scam, because I have NO merchant account!

Same scenario, except answered call and had no response. Called # back, rang once, no answer. Seems all of the calls on my home line are solicitations. Does the do-not-call list work any more??
