We keep getting calls from that number too and the recording says it's a Marketing company that does research for news papers. We're supposed to leave our number to be removed from their list, but like you, the box is full.
I'VE BEEN RECEIVING CALLS FROM 408-808-1302, ON A DAILY BASIS FOR THE PAST COUPLE WEEKS. I DON'T ANSWER CALLS ON MY CELL PHONE UNLESS I RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER OR KNOW WHO IS CALLING ME. AFTER READING THE POSTINGS HERE, I NOW KNOW IT'S A SALES CALL FROM THE SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS. I'M PRETTY PISSED OFF TO FIND OUT THEY HAVE MY NUMBER. THIS CELL PHONE IS A PRIVATE LINE AND SO FAR, ONLY A HANDFUL OF PEOPLE HAVE THE NUMBER. IS THERE A WAY TO STOP THIS?
This is SJ Mercury News. My husband spoke to them last week. I even called their local customer service asking to be removed from their marketing lists, but they continue to call me. What is my next step to complain, Please help. I will gladly file a complaint. My Phone # is also unlisted, unpublished, that doesn't seem to matter with these companies. I am also on the do not call list.
i am also getting calls from this number . a couple a day. i don't answer calls from unknown numbers. and imagine my surprise.. they don't leave a msg.
Same here calls for 408 8081302. they call me everday many times and when i am in class at school. this is so annoying i call them back left my number. 2 second after left the message they call me back again and then when i pick up the phone and say hello they hang up on me. this is driving me nuts. i don't know wat i should do and how they got my phone number
