For one dont you think sprint should inform their own customers about that number. i for one sent it to c friend and was surprised at the number my phone left for him to call back to get my voice message. Sprint sucks
Geez...some of you people are ignorant! You pay for a service, and yet you don't understand 100% about what you are paying for??? Are you kidding??? Instead of complaining about things you're to lazy to figure, try putting forth some effort...especially since you're paying for it!
I was sitting in my living room when I heard my office phone ring in my other room. I let it go to voice mail. A minute later, I got a text message on my cell phone (which was with me at the time). The text message, from "8353," said, "Your message was successfully delivered to an answering machine or voicemail at {my office phone number}. Thanks for using Text To Landline!"
The problem is that I sent no message. The caller ID on my office phone said that the call had come from my cell phone, even though there was nothing in the call history on my cell phone. I checked the voice mail on my office phone and it did sound like a text-to-landline message telling me to call 408-970-0000 to listen to the message.
I've had text-to-landline messages from Sprint before, but they always left the message on the target phone's voice mail. This is the first one that instructed me to call a number to retrieve my message. Either Sprint's text-to-landline system is screwed up, of somebody's playing games.
I just had the same thing too me, My 9 year old step son has a cell phone that was in the possession of his grandmother. he had been with her all night . When I get a message on my phone that said " FU&% IT SUCK IT [***] has sent you a sprint SMS message to listen call 408-970-0000 Only the call was from my step sons phone number as the one who sent the message. and like others there is no history on his phone of sending this call
Got a call past midnight. Answer machine picked up and heard a message saying that such person had sent a text to land line message and to hear the message to call 408-970-0000.
When I called I heard my family member's voice with a message that was either fabricated or really really old. My guess these are some clowns fooling around with peoples voice mail accounts and sending voice messages as text to landline or other methods.
And it works...I am so pieced they woke up my baby by calling so late and we had a horrible night...
