These are scam callers posing as the National Crime Enforsement Agency. They have East Indian or Pakistani accents and verbally threaten with criminal proceedings. The calls are juvenille at best. When I have returned the calls and confronted the so-called "National Crime Enforsement Officer," I have had responses of yelling threats and lewd sexual remarks. These scammers have called me from several different numbers. As soon as I think they are gone for good, they start calling fagain from a different area code. I am getting these calls because my information was hacked when I filled out a form on-line containing confidential information. I have reported the calls to the FBI and Secret Service. But I am told there is nothing they can do. However, I was advised to file an identity fraud report with the local police department. At this point, I'm going to change my phone number. These scammers also leave messages on my phone extension at work. My opinion: if they have not been able to rip off your checking account, etc., with the informtion they have (e.g., the last 4 digets of your social security numberand/or the name of some company you've done business with) they are calling to scare you into giving them money. DON'T.
they've been calling me and my husband for about two weeks. I'm tired of it!! Them saying I got a cash advance loan direct deposited into my account. But he couldn't tell me when! And I kept asking for someone to talk to that could speak English so I could understand them, and they didn't have anyone there that could. These people are stupid!! Don't they know we can look at our bank statements to prove it wasn't deposited!! IDIOTS!!!! So I told them to do what they needed to do, take me to court, sue me, get me for check fraud, arrest me, and whatever else they threatend to do to me, but they needed to STOP CALLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!! We will see what happens!
These I got a call from these people, they also called my nephew and friends. They are rip off con men. They can't speak English, could not give me any difinite information about what I owed, who I owed, when I was to have received this loan. It was in 2008 or 2009 is what they said. DO NOT give them money, do not be intiminated by them. I told them to stop calling me, that I have contacted my lawyer, the local police and have reported them to the Federal Trade Commission. We will see what happens.
just got a call from this number- guys name is OFFICER peter thomson very heavy accent- indian or pakistani, tells me i have a court case pending and that i have to call him back asap and not to disregard this phonecall-dude really- get a real job- besides- if they really wanna send the cops after me for a loan that i never took- tell them i will have the coffee waiting when they get here!!
Got a call from "office david cooper" who had an accent like a middle eastern and said they were national crime center. I called back "unlisted" and got a phony voicemail message. then when I called back without blocking my number, some guy answered and could barely speak English. WTF????
