I do not have a debt owed. This company contacted my place of employement and left a message in my human resources department. I spoke to the same person both times I called back trying to get information like their location and company name, the person who left the message (same strange voice, obvious she's foreign trying to speak english) used different names for each contact. Kathryn one time Trish the other. I called my lawyer to providing him the information, he said it was a scam as well but looking into it.
Recorded caller left half a voice message that sounded threatening, saying that this was my last chance to enter my statement by pressing "1" and that they would present their recommendations to their client without my statement if I didn't respond. I can only imagine that this is some kind of scam.
Woman's recorded voice states they are a law firm in the last phase of my case and that if I want my statement included before they pay damages to press 1 or call 409 2419859 to speak with them. I'm not involved in any litigation and if I was my attorney would be speaking for me!
same threatening voicemails as above. woman's recorded voice called twice and then the 3rd time was more threatening and stated that their agency would now approach me at my place of employment and/or residence! that one was creepy, so I called the number back: the first time some lady that didn't speak English answered. 2nd time I got a male that stated they were looking for a lady's name they gave me that I did not know and was not me and hung up on me. 3rd time i called back they told me they were an "independent agency," and could not give me additional information due to legal reasons and hung up on me again! yep, called back a 4th time to threaten to report their phone number to the police, and they still would not give me information, were rude, etc. I actually gave them my real name and phone number--they said "that number has already been deleted from our system," but the receptionist (a female with an accent) wouldn't give me any more information and was short and rude with me. It must be a scam!
