How on earth would you expect anyone on here to manage that? This site doesn't offer call blocking, nor do they have control over who calls who. You've got to do all that on your own. Start by completely ignoring unknown numbers if possible, or consider a call blocker, or app.
Got a call from this number today. Harry Grant on the caller ID. Called me by my first name only, has my number, would love to know how he got it, but I'd guess data brokerage of some kind. I told him I knew it was a scam and he said he would "destroy me" financially. Pleasant fellow. Reported the call to the FTC, would suggest others do the same. Used several other numbers too, called six times during the course of the day.
Got two missed calls from this number (I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't know) but no voicemails. I ended up answering the third call as the caller ID read Galveston TX and I have some family out that way. It was the heavily accented male agent from "Go Installment Loans" that everyone else seems to have run into on this thread. He honestly was hard to understand.
I asked him how he got my number and he said I had applied for a personal loan (never ever did this happen) and that I had been denied before but suddenly I was approved. I told him that I never did such a thing and to remove my number from his call list. He then asked me if I wanted to know more about the loan he was offering. Again, I told him I was in no way interested in the loan because I never applied for one and to REMOVE MY NUMBER. He then said "so are you declining the loan?" Like, YEAH, I don't want your offer or any info about it. Thankfully the call wrapped up at that point. Hopefully this will be the last I hear from whoever that was.
