Left a message threatening to have an arrest warrant issued for me if I didn't take care of some matter immediately. so upon calling back they just picked up the phone and did not identify the name of their company so when I demanded the name of the company I was hung up on multiple times. finally one gentleman that answered first spoke in an unknown language and then identified the company as being the IRS.. Scam..
My phone identified this as a possible scam call so I let it go to voicemail. He caller identified himself as Alex Brown of the Investigation Department of the Internal Revenue Service. He said the police department could issue an arrest warrant and that I should call back. So I called and the person responding had a foreign accent. I asked are you Alex Brown? He said yes, although the initial caller had a robotic voice with an American accent. I told the person that I was with the Internal Revenue Service and wanted to know why he called me. No response. I went on to say this is a spam call. You are spamming. The caller hung-up
I received a voicemail from an automated voice claiming to be Alex Brown from Internal Revenue Services . They threatened that I needed to call me back or else they will forward my file to my local police department.
Left me a message that I needed to call immediately about unpaid taxes and an arrest warrant had been issued in my name When I called he said "the police are going to throw you in jail if you do not pay". I said okay and hung up.
