Left a message threatening to have an arrest warrant issued for me if I didn't take care of some matter immediately. so upon calling back they just picked up the phone and did not identify the name of their company so when I demanded the name of the company I was hung up on multiple times. finally one gentleman that answered first spoke in an unknown language and then identified the company as being the IRS.. Scam..
Alex Brown from IRS. Warrant out for you call 409-440-4666 to clear up or will turn over to local police to have you arrested. could tell it was a computer generated voice.
I had a voicemail left by this number so when I listen to the message I heard a robot voice claiming to be the IRS and some of the message that sound like fast forwarding on a video recorder. I knew it was bogus but I called back anyway. the person on the phone had what sounded to be an Indian or middle eastern accent and claimed to be from the IRS giving a bogus identification number . He asked why I was calling and I said had a missed call from this number and they asked if this was *my name*, only giving me my first name. I said nothing and hung up the phone. the IRS is not supposed to call you. they contact you by mail.
