CONTINUALLY LEAVING TEXT MESSAGES ABOUT BALANCE ON ACCOUNT THAT I DONT HAVE
SUBJECT ACCOUNT
THE NUMBER IS 410-000-115 OR 116 AND THERE IS NO LAST NUMBER TO CALL AND STOP THESE UNWANTED CALLES THST ARE USING UP MY TIME AND MINUTES.
CAN I STOP THESE SOMEHOW.
THEY SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE FCC - BUT HOW DO YOU DO THIS??? I tried to report them to AT&T but got nowhere. I was basically told there was nothign I could do except get a new phone # which they would give me for no charge.
These scam artists call and don't leave a message, but they call a lot. No texts to me, so far. My experience is that they pretend to be a company calling to automatically renew your prescriptions, then ask for your credit card info. You KNOW that they are getting info from some unsuspecting people. In the case of prescriptions, they are most likely trying to prey on the elderly who get their prescriptions sent through the mail. Don't bother trying to unsubscribe or ask them to take you off their list, they just keep coming. Every time I quiz them about who they are, where they are located, ask the name of their company, quiz them to see if they even knew what prescriptions had been ordered, told them I was going to report them, etc -- every time they just hang up on me. It sounds like a busy call room and they always have foreign accents. A couple of times the guy on the phone did say they are in Florida. Never women on the phone -- always guys.
Hubby received a text message listing my email address as the sender, but with "1 (410) 000-008 as the return text number. Text "Magic erection etc." with URL. My husband started receiving these at the exact time I was sending him texts from my email while on a Delta flight using gogo wifi. Anyone else experience this? Who to call?
