I got a text message from 1-410-000-0001 which said it was from Claudia Sierra; SUBJ: Your family; Msg: Hello. This is James. Please view this photo and contact us asap! http://cityinfoplus.com/img5437.jpg. Like a dummy I went to this site, but it was blank. I took of the image info at the end and the site was a login page for School Express (or something like that). I couldn't get past that, as I am not taking any online classes. Now I'm afraid that I let a worm into my computer. I ran Symantics scan on my computer and it didn't find anything, but I'm still afraid to go to any site that needs one of my passwords.
So, I know this is a somewhat old thread...but, I just had a similar problem. Was getting a:

MSG: Guess who
the number would change each time something new came in and finally, found out it was a friend sending me messages from an iPod. For whatever reason, it kept rotating the message each time she sent a new message. Now, as far as the one's where someone's reporting weather or visa issues, etc...betting they're being done from an online source or an iPod and not an actual phone.
