Have been geting 2-3 calls per day for last 3 weeks from 1-410-202-0108, identified by caller ID as ADA. No one is there when the phone is answered on my end. No message has been left. This type of activity from this number has been going on for at least 8 months. Time to get this stopped. FCC, FTC where the heck are you guys? Maybe time for a class action suit against all parties, regulators and the ADA.
These people call us on various numbers, all out of Maryland. I think the calls are coming from the Mid-Atlantic ADA Center - web site is
www.adainfo.org. I'm only making an educated guess about this, based on the facts that they are located in Maryland, give no phone number on their site, and the nature of their web site (they "provide training, information, and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to businesses, consumers, schools, and government agencies").
Well, that was my hopeful assumption-that it was a call from the Americans with Disabilities Association, but in fact it was the American Diabetes Association with a recent fund-raising campaign.
Just got off the phone - she i.d.'d herself as "from the American Diabetes Association" & asked for me by my last name. I gave her my usual "I don't do ANY business over the phone" bit & she just...hung up. Period...

They should fine those constant nuisance calls that prey on the innocents.
Be fined $10K for each call they bother the many descent.
