We recieved a call from 41-387-7548 at 1929 EDT on 11JUL12. We did not answer but have had many strange calls similar to this. No message left when it went to the answering machine. We have an 'unlisted' number so not sure how these are getting through. Any help in getting them STOPPED would be appreciated.
Answer this number & say things like "customer service, how may I help you", or "hello, I,ve been waiting for you to call--are you avoiding me now". Just think of something funny to say!! Hope it works!!
I received a call from this number on July 13, 2012 and it was automated selling security systems. I stated i wanted a security system aand a person came on the line identifying himself as Patrick. During the call we got disconnected. He called back from another number, 1-267-329-7005 and this is a land line. It states Relief Masters. I will be calling them on Monday. Everyone that gets a security call from the googled number above needs to know the other number i just gave. My number is on the do not call list..
It is all a scam, foreign operated. They use false caller ID and fake numbers to doop unsuspecting Americans. This is not a real company. Telemarketing scams are on the rise. All they want to do is ROB you of your credit card, identity and hard earned money. They use computer generated robo calls. Pressing any number only validates your number, nevertheless, once they have your number they will continue to call using various numbers and schemes. STAY SMART, STAY VIGILANT, and USE COMMON SENSE. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER do business over the phone, ask for something in writing and state an appropriate call back number. DO YOUR RESEARCH. ALL BBB and all license accredited business have appropriate call back numbers. If they want your $ it is logical for them to have a call center where you can call them back. These numbers are all fake and illegal as well as their operation. DO NOT ALLOW these criminals into your home or give them private infomation
BEST OPTION. Report to the appropriate authorities. Do Not Call List does work. Please warn the elderly and those who may be gullible to such schemes. PLEASE PLEASE WARN AND REPORT. TELEMARKETING SCAMS ARE ON THE RISE. WARN AND REPORT. TAKE THE TIME TO WARN AND REPORT. Let others know, the more people who are aware, the less money they steal. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES ARE AWARE OF SUCH SCAMS AND ARE ON TOP OF IT. But please continue to report and warn others, as well, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT TELEMARKETING SCAMS ARE ON THE RISE AND BE ADVISED that you will receive all types of fraudulent calls.
