Got a harassing phone call from this number. They left a message on my answering machine.They claimed that they were with an IRS investigation office that was going to press criminal charges against me. Sound like a complete fraudulent call. I am certain that it's a phishing scheme of some kind. Just blocked the number don't fall for their line of garbage.
Received an email from a guy, by the name of Chris Matthews, who claims to be an attorney. Email states that i will be arrested within the next couple of days, and i will be charged with violation of federal banking regulation act 1983, collateral check fraud, and theft by deception. Apparently the "summons" is attached to this email, but i will not be opening it
Got the same email. Called the number late last night and an Indian man couldn't hardly talk kept stopping like he had to read it .I hung up left a voicemail u real can't they stop these people it can b so upsetting .
I got one online as well. It said Federal District Court. It did not say which one. The case number should have the date in it and it doesn't. The real truth is if we were really in trouble, the feds would just show up, they wouldn't call or e-mail first.
