Got a harassing phone call from this number. They left a message on my answering machine.They claimed that they were with an IRS investigation office that was going to press criminal charges against me. Sound like a complete fraudulent call. I am certain that it's a phishing scheme of some kind. Just blocked the number don't fall for their line of garbage.
I received an email from a Chris Matthews State Attorney Office Columbia, MD 21046. The email states an arrest warrant . I m suppose to respond within 48 hours if not the legal action will be activated. If the federal government wanted to arrest someone I pretty sure they would send an email.
I do some research on the following number 410-501-5474, and came across this information. The company's name is Level (3) Communication, they are located in Baltimore, MD
I did some further research and found out the company name they use has nothing to do with the law or warrant. Wow this is an extreme way to harass people for money.
