Got a call to my home phone from Mechanicsburg for a similar FOP = Frat Order of Police thing yesterday.
Didn't answer that one either - that number was 717-610-4147.
Asked for me by my name, I asked who's calling and he went right into his speech. Some police officers fund looking for donations. I told him to remove this number from the calling list. He hung up.
Called me today at 1pm I refused to give my payment info over phone, they r sending me a packet and asked for money in a week, suffice to say, they're not getting money, why tell me how soon I have to donate?
Cool. IMO I'd try "Hi. I just got out of jail for manslaughter of some random caller trying to get me to buy x". Just kidding I'd not really recommend that...
