Got a call to my home phone from Mechanicsburg for a similar FOP = Frat Order of Police thing yesterday.
Didn't answer that one either - that number was 717-610-4147.
I just got this call, i'm gonna tell u guys exactly what this is.....My brother paul actually worked for a call center like this, it's a legal scam! They try to get you to donate to the police but you're really donating 80 or 90% to the call center! So if u donate $20 to the police they actually get $2 and $18 goes to the call center!!! Block the number and that's it!!!!
Called my work cell. I didn't pick up, no message left. Came immediately to 800notes to check it out... and as suspected, another scam #. It's a shame the DNC only limits calls from legitimate telemarketers.
