They don't leave a message at all. I have had a difficult time with staying caught up in bills the last few years, so it probably is something that has gone to collections, but I have no mail or message from them. The only reason I know they have tried calling is because I looked it up reverse phone directory online and came to this site. I just think they will never receive whatever money they want because I have nothing that states what money I owe!!!!

I know the SOL is different in each state but what limit is valid, the one in the state a person lives in currently or the state where the debt was created?
My credit report was well on it's way to being excellent again after a nasty divorce and job loss and now this company and one more bought very old debt and reported it to the credit bureaus again and caused my credit rating to drop drastically. I try very hard to be honest and pay bills and this is ridiculous. Also I was told that old debt if not paid never drops off your credit report, is this true?

I get hundreds of call from Portfolio Recovery for neighbors and people I've never heard of. I've tried the normal requests to ask them to remove my number and to get them to stop calling me but they don't. We should start calling them. That might make them stop... Here's the numbers that continue to call me no matter what I do
I would like to know how these idiots got my cell number - I do not owe anyone any money they are also calling my home # for the people that used to have the # which I got about a year ago - they never leave a message - I often wonder what it is going to take for them to realize they are calling the wrong person thank god for caller ID I do not answer the phone unless I know who it is
They called me today trying to collect on a debt tht was 10 yrs old. They asked me if I had been to the Dr's..10 YEARS AGO!!! I said I'm sure I have within the last 10 yrs, what is the Dr's name you say I owe the debt to and they couldn't answer that for she said she didn't know. Than she asked me if I lived at the address she specified and I told her I'ven never lived at that address..she still proceeded and I again told her I never lived there they have the wrong person and she hung up.
