They don't leave a message at all. I have had a difficult time with staying caught up in bills the last few years, so it probably is something that has gone to collections, but I have no mail or message from them. The only reason I know they have tried calling is because I looked it up reverse phone directory online and came to this site. I just think they will never receive whatever money they want because I have nothing that states what money I owe!!!!
Yes, this is Portfolio Recovery again. Here is a new idea: I have a wonderful new cell phone that has a block feature that doesn't cost extra. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize anyway, but now, no matter what number they call from, I click it immediately into my contacts list with the block activated. In fact, the block works by blocking the contact name, which blocks all numbers listed under that name. By creating a separate contact (called "harassment") in my contacts list, each time they call from a new number, I only have to click "add to existing contact" to put them in the block list. At least now, I receive exactly one call from each of their numbers.
If you have a droid use Extreme Call Blocker Droid. Can drop ANY number of selected calls from specific numbers, and hey, if you really want to be mean, instead of just hanging up, you can use the "pretender" feature...and play any music, voice, or noise you can think of...prerecorded or otherwise. There may be one for the iPhone too. Tired of these people. They are calling looking for someone with a similar name...about to sue them to tell you the truth damn it!
Of course no, 4years is the statues of limitation in some states 6 after that they can do nothing, do not make any arragement or the statue star again.
