They don't leave a message at all. I have had a difficult time with staying caught up in bills the last few years, so it probably is something that has gone to collections, but I have no mail or message from them. The only reason I know they have tried calling is because I looked it up reverse phone directory online and came to this site. I just think they will never receive whatever money they want because I have nothing that states what money I owe!!!!
IF YOU ARE RECEIVING HARASSING PHONE CALLS FROM ANYONE REPORT THEM ON THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION WEBSITE FTCCOMPLAINTASSISTANT.GOV TAKES 2 MINS. MAYBE IF WE ALL WOULD DO THIS ON EVERY PHONE CALL THEY WOULD SHUT THEM DOWN
I always take these calls for the lulz. I ask who the debt is for and most of the time it is from some business or store I have never done business with, let alone have a credit account with . Then I ask about when the debt is from and they always say 1999,2000,2001 etc. - I remind them of the statute of limitations and wait for their lame excuse about how the statute doesn't apply in my case. That is about the time I tell them to go pound sand and hang up.
There is a statue of limitation in ever state on how long a debt can be collected. In California it's 4 years, after that it can't be collected lawfully so there is no need to pay it and you can tell them to F off.
Just called me for the 2nd time since yesterday asking me for a person who does not live here. I told her that she had the wrong # and she yelled...do you know so and so. I TOLD YOU THAT YOU HAVE THE WRONG #.
Just got my gazillion-th call from these louse and the number they called from this time was 412-282-1421. Are these thugs allowed to pester people on Saturdays & Sundays too?
