Claims I have been charged with fraudulent bank activity or fraudulent checks, I don't even have a bank account, we use prepaid debit/credit cards for all our transactions or cash. I put our numbers on the do not call list but so far it hasn't worked.
These are total scammers. They either buy old debts or steal files from reputable services like check n' go or cashnet. My name got on one of these lists years ago and off and on I get this. Check n' go had files stolen a few years back and my account happened to be in them. Do not pay these people. There are no legal actions they can do and they cannot arrest you for a civil matter (This info came directly from a DA). I contacted my DA's office and told them what was going on and they told me this was a common scam. I gave them all the info on the company I had. After a while they will stop calling you but please please do not fall for the threats...it is all 100% bogus!
I have been getting these calls off and on for the last five years, you would think they would quit. I finally went to the police station to talk to them and show them the voice text message, they said it was a scam. They also said if you had charges like there claiming, the FBI, would send you a letter first, not some random [***], so every time they call now I say prove it, one day the lady got so mad at me she slipped and said , so what your not going to give me $700 dollars, I said he'll no, she got so mad , she hung up while she was talking [***] to me, and two months later she's at it again, these people suck, they hacked my computer a few years back and ever since this has been going on.....
I just got a call from "lucinda mason" , well it was a recorded message threatening me with 2 accounts of fraud linked to my social security number. I have to laugh because im English and my work permit has just arrived and I am awaiting my social number in the mail!
I received a nasty message from 412-346-1349 stating I had 2 fraud cases against me and that they were serving me at my place of employment and home. I googled this number and found multiple people had received the same dall and how rude the people were and that it is a scam. This is some company in Penn. and I have not committed and fraud, actually have been out of work for over a year and a half with back injury and back surgery. I have enough pain and stress to not have to deal with people accusing me of something I did not do.
