No county clerk or government entity has anything to do with personal debt disputes, unless there is n active court case and that's between the attorneys, their clients and the judge. Debt collectors have nothing to do with any government agency except to be regulated by the state they are in--provided they are legal debt collectors and not scammers.
I received a call yesterday on my private cell phone and then they called me on my work number. They also stated that it was the county clerk, they were going to sue me now that I was found, contacting my employer etc. THIS IS A SCAM!! I called the county clerk office and reported this to them They said all there numbers are 412-350 not 346
Received a voice message from 412-346-1399. I checked the message and it was a pre-recorded message stating that they were calling from the county clerk office and I had 2 suits that were filed against me and even gave a case # of 234254. The voice mail said that they would locate me at my home address and my employer. So I called the number back and it was a guy that answered Pre-Charge Authorization and then immediately put me on hold. When he returned he said that I had an outstanding balance from a loan from 2008. I have taken out loans before but only just recently and not in 2008. He argued with me and stated things that were allegedly on my credit report. I told him to take whatever action he needed to and basically to go to hell. After this conversation I got online to investigate the number and I came across this site and am even reporting this number myself.. These people should not be allowed to continue on with this!!!!
Got a harassing voicemail saying to call. I called and spoke with Mike Green. Stated I owed a payday loan from 2008 to Compass Capital LLC. Threatened to find me at my work and home. I have not lived there for 2 years and live in another state. Said they will pull my credit to get updated information. Then said that's the reason collection company couldn't find me. I just moved, so 5 years at the same address they have and couldn't find me? Such scammers. I told him to come and find me. More threats and advised was being recorded and reported for harassment and falsifying for a government agency. he quickly hung up. Sheriff is on the way and this company is being reported!
Said I Had a default Pay-Day loan from 2010 with a company called WTJ Financial and that I was facing wage garnishment, or I could pay a lesser amount of $843.00 if I settled the debt today. SCAM I told him to sent me a notice of who,what and why. he said he would inform the financial company of my request.
