Got a call about my car, and the warranty expired, and it was no longer covered. I asked if they were call from the manufacturer, and he said he had to transfer me. I got the next person, who was irritated, said I had ignored their letter, and they were going to close my file if I didn't agree to have them come out, and inspect my vehicle to continue my manufactures warranty. I again asked if they are paid by my car manufacturer to administer my warranty. He said I currently have no warranty. I asked again "Are you representing my dealer, and will continue the coverage offered my manufacturer?" and he hung up on me. ha ha ha... What an exciting day!!!!
By the way, I forgot to mention that I tried to call the number back from my work phone (which shows a generic number and cannot come back to me) and the number didn't even ring... there was silence for about 20 seconds, then eventually a message stated that this number is not in service. Definitely a phony caller ID = magic jack SPAMMER.
This number calls me constantly, for a car I had 3 cars ago! Not only that, the dealerships around here do not accept them. I have asked several times to be put on their do not call list but they keep calling back.
This person knew my name, phone number and year and make of my vehicle. Did A&L provide this to them? Calls started after a service visit. If so I will never do business with them again.
