Got a call about my car, and the warranty expired, and it was no longer covered. I asked if they were call from the manufacturer, and he said he had to transfer me. I got the next person, who was irritated, said I had ignored their letter, and they were going to close my file if I didn't agree to have them come out, and inspect my vehicle to continue my manufactures warranty. I again asked if they are paid by my car manufacturer to administer my warranty. He said I currently have no warranty. I asked again "Are you representing my dealer, and will continue the coverage offered my manufacturer?" and he hung up on me. ha ha ha... What an exciting day!!!!
Called at 6:08 PM from a local exchange saying it was a courtesy call from "the Warranty Center" to renew my vehicle warranty.
Caller asked if I was aware that my warranty expired and told me that she was just going to get some info from me to prevent it from lapsing. I get these notices in the mail all the time so I knew this crap warranty service was trying to get my money by making me think it was a legit call from my dealership or manufacturer.
They have called me once a week, but I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. I don't even live anywhere near this area code any longer. And the car they are calling about, I am sure it is one I traded in 4 years ago in a different state.
