The funny thing is. I have asked to be removed from the calling list of St Jude (total of 7 different groups so far: the different groups are all call centers calling on their behalf) and I will continue getting calls until their current round of donation requests is done. Really pisses me off that they call like this every time my grandfather sends a donation in the mail.
caller id was the # 4123874438. no message was left. unfortunately, i've ran out of block space on my phone. just went to verizon and found they upped the number you can block to 100. For a while it was only 10. Added this to that list. Yes, I'm sick and tired of having my day disturbed by unnecessary phone calls and having to take time to block them.
Received call from this number. Live Lady asked for Paula Coffer (?unsure of last name).
I tell ALL tele-marketers that I simply DO NOT give money over the phone. If they persist I tell them my church has a fund
raiser and if they donate, so will I. I ask their name, phone number, address and their home number. They usually hang
up quickly. I also tell them if they call back the answer is the same and the company they are working for does them an
injustice by calling the same numbers more than once because they waste their time when they could be calling others
for the first time.
