412-503-4002.... companies like this buy debts for pennies on the dollar... if you owe a total of $500 and the debt is less than 1 yr old they might've only paid $5 for you account. potentially could buy your account for .02 % or lower depends on the debt its self... this company from what i hear from my girlfriend is garbage... do not pay them any more than 20% of the debt... PERIOD!!!... ALWAYS REMEMBER PAY YOUR DEBTS... JUST BE SMART... THE OLDER THE DEBT THE CHEAPER IT IS FOR THE COMPANY TO BUY IT... HENCE THE LOWER % YOU SHOULD BE WILLING TO PAY!! good luck with these "people".
IN one day, these people called me over 125 times ! It is sickening.
I also get one that begins, " this is not a sales call" and that one calls all the time too. Its really nerve wracking. I am sorry we are all getting these calls, but, at least, we are not alone.
I just started getting this on my cell. Very annoying. Luckily I am moving and will be changing numbers within the week. Hopefully that stops them.
I also do not have any outstanding debt. I pulled my free credit report to look to make sure there was nothing negative on it or any fraudulent claims. Others should do the same, this sounds scammy.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TRACFONE? I THINK THIS MAY BE A SCAM TO USE UP OUR MINUTES & BUY MORE. THE PERSON THAT CALLS ME SOUNDS LIKE THEY ARE FROM INDIA. WHENEVER I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR TRACFONE, WHO DO I GET? SOMEONE FROM INDIA. JUST A COINCIDENCE, PERHAPS.
They've called about 20x this past week, and I had no idea who it could be! They've left no messages. Finally I called back and "Greg" answered and I instantly hung up. After reading all of these posts I'll be ignoring the rest of these calls considering I have no debt! I'm interested in how they got our numbers, and how legal harassing people is!
This number just called my house looking for my brother. The woman started getting really rude. My mom was ready to give my brother's cell phone number, but got fed up and asked the girl what her problem was and why she was rude and the woman proceeded to hang up on my mother. Thanks to all of you for posting this info so we know it isn't legit. I don't believe anything this number has to say!
