Need to add - there were two calls within the 11:20 AM time frame. One says "Service Department" and the other just has the phone number in the caller ID, like 4125320136. Idiots.
Service Department call to lower my credit card interest. No option but to hang up or click 1 to talk to a friendly service agent. Did that to mention "do not call list", told I was #20 on list, so hung up. Called back within seconds and said I was #18. Hung up again.
I got a call today from this number. An automated message came on explaining something about how they've tried to contact me regarding my credit card and this was their last courtesy attempt - I held and a representative came on (poor English) and said that they can help me lower my rates if I have more than $3000 on credit cards. I said "well wait... you called me and made me think it was my credit card company - wouldn't you already know how much credit I have" at which point the person hung up on me.
