It's a BS credit card robo scam that threatens you about prior 'contacts' with you and this is your final warning and a respectful 'rep' will soon talk to you...push '1'. I decided to wait for the 'rep' and upon his voice, rip into him and hang up. Apparently, this number is and has been used for various scams for years and still in business outside of Pittsburgh.
JUST BLOCK THEIR NUMBER! If we don't know them, we don't answer. Our Panasonic system allows for something like blocking 250 numbers and we are putting it to great use.
THEY'RE BACK !!! Please look at the MANY prior messages (during 2013, 2014 and, now, 2015) on this forum concerning calls from the "Service Department" and this telephone number.
This group wants access to your personal data and will take over your credit and, perhaps, computer if you allow it!
DO NOT RESPOND because they know you're already on a DO NOT CALL list; they don't care. They're "banking" (no pun intended) on you getting fed up and answering your phone and/or calling back to ask them not to call you.
Furthermore, DO NOT OPEN ANY LINKS to this group as there's the possibility your computer could be damaged.
I never received a call from this number on my house or cell phone (the only two numbers I ever give out) but yesterday my 99 year old grandmother got a call from them asking about me and giving details saying I owed a credit card money ,(meanwhile I spoke to the only credit card I own and I an current with payments) but anyway my grandmother lives alone and gets very scared very easily. She got nervous not knowing what was going on called 911 and was rushed to energency room for panic which is incredibly dangerous for her. Also my grandmother has an unlisted number! So how did they even get that number for me? When I try calling it back it just says your call can't be connected try the number again.
If anyone intruded into my home through a door or window trying to bother me or extract information or money or property from me, the police could be called to haul them away, even though the laws for that are very weak.
