I keep getting calls from this number saying this is the Home Improvement and Remodeling Group. I did speak with a supervisor, Jeremy (has a very thick accent) who said George A Matthews is the president of the company.
He also told me they do now have a Do Not Call list. When I asked if they had a Do Not F'in Harass Me list, he told me yes. I've been telling these people to stop calling and will be changing my number by next week to stop these stupid harassment calls.
I definitely think this is a SCAM because if you call the number back, I get a recording that the number is no longer in service.
I received the same message from Officer John Smith, thick accent. threatened to have me arrested and make me lose my job. Ended the call with God Bless You. Report this to federal trade commision.
same heavy accented voice, just diff name- with the usual threats- SCAM- IGNORE these calls and they will stop- I've been told there will be an officer to arrest me the next day, etc- and for he's obviously gotten lost for the last 2 yrs! The first time they called 2 yrs ago- the local police told me to ignore them- and if I DID talk to them- make them send something in writing to prove they are legit which of course they aren't gonna do! They quit calling after a bit- but- they will try to scare you and try to get money from you. It is NOT legal for them to threaten you and you cannot be "arrested" like this man with MANY names says. PLEASE DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY AND MAKE SURE YOU SHARE THIS- I'VE HEARD OF ELDERLY PEOPLE GETTING THESE CALLS AND SCARED TO DEATH!
And you can usually tell by the dates on here - that it goes in spells and they start calling people all over around the same time.
Got a call today from "Officer Roy Peters, I asked if they would send me documents, he said no not till the file goes to court. Me like a dumb A#$ gave them a card number. Got it cancelled in time after reading comments like these. They Did Scare me. But now know its a SCAM!!!!
