I have been receiving calls also and so has my family and employer. My employer called me and said they call everyday. She gave me the number and the name federal check processing I looked it up on line and saw all of these post. I called them to ask what it was about said fraudulent check writing. I asked several questions about the debt and she said I see you are refusing to settle this matter and hung up. She called my employer and tech support administrator for information, called me back saying the names of who she talked to and that I would be dealt with on Monday by my employer so it was in my best interest to call her back. I verified at work that she did call them. I called back another girl spoke to mecand then told me I by asking all these questions I see you are trying to get out of this? I said I didn't even understand why they keep calling, I've never received anything from them in writing about committing fraud and she changed my call to a manager who wants me to pay 125.00 to them for six months. Im fearful I may loose my job because of their harassing me and my employer. What do I do?
I keep getting calls from this number from a Robert Williams - if that's really his name. Says he's with Federal Check Processing in NY? However, this is a Wisconsin number. Also, further investigated to find that federal check is some how affiliated with Cash Net USa which is a payday loan company. I contacted cashnet directly and was told that I do not have anything with them and this company is a FRAUD and should be reported. I have done so and advise everyone else to do the same.
i have been getting same calls from same guy i however do have a debt with cashnetusa ,so i talked to cashnetusa today and they told me they sold my account to a 3rd party called dmp turns out the calls i have been getting are from federal recovery/federal check processing i believe dmp is also another name they use they are horrible im not paying anything to anybody but the original loan place but it seems cashnetusa has something to do with all this fraudelent companys and told me my debt is 90 days old now and out of there hands
Called the house twice and work once claiming to be a Federal debt collector threatening to press charges if I didn't call and give them my name and SSN.
I too have been recieving calls from these people-about 6 times a day! I do have a loan with cashnet usa, but I am very suspicious of these people. They are threatening legal action and even refer to my account as Docket #.... When I asked who they were they were very evasive, and said that they were "Federal Check Processing". They have never said they were attempting to collect a debt anf imply that they are a federal agency! Who are these people? I am thinking of blocking their numbers!
