I have been receiving calls also and so has my family and employer. My employer called me and said they call everyday. She gave me the number and the name federal check processing I looked it up on line and saw all of these post. I called them to ask what it was about said fraudulent check writing. I asked several questions about the debt and she said I see you are refusing to settle this matter and hung up. She called my employer and tech support administrator for information, called me back saying the names of who she talked to and that I would be dealt with on Monday by my employer so it was in my best interest to call her back. I verified at work that she did call them. I called back another girl spoke to mecand then told me I by asking all these questions I see you are trying to get out of this? I said I didn't even understand why they keep calling, I've never received anything from them in writing about committing fraud and she changed my call to a manager who wants me to pay 125.00 to them for six months. Im fearful I may loose my job because of their harassing me and my employer. What do I do?
I received a call from these people 414-376-6299. I had no idea what they were talking about, turns out, where I work, in another department there is a girl with the same first name as me. FIRST NAME, and I am somehow getting her calls from these people, I felt badly for her so after I corrected them I warned her that while they were being rude to me on the phone I also heard in the background the coworker of the lady I was talking too being very very rude to another caller. Just makes me sick and mad that they go to that lengths to try and get someone to pay. I told this lady after we cleared up that I was not the person she wanted, that I hope she feels like an [***] for making the mistake and not checking before sounding off too someone who isnt her intended target. I also reminded her that I could have gotten this other girl's information from this lady, which she was not being professional by giving out personal information without being sure. I told her to never call me again, and that I have reported her. Her and her crew are very much morons, instead of being professionals, they are nothing more then bullies.
Yes, these people just started calling me also. I had a debt with CashNet about 5 yrs ago I was unable to pay back. Now five years later I am getting calls that are very threatening, mentioning that they are ready to go to court and my atty. needs to contact them by days end to resolve this issue. CashNet is not even based in the US i do not beleive, but they will still sell any debts to 3rd party companies who are the devil in trying to collect. They can kiss my [***]!
i recieved a threatning phone call from this number telling me i will be prosecuted for theft by deception if i do not pay 755.00 by thursday am can they have you arrested or is it fraudulent?
They are an illegal collection company that breaks every FDCPA rule. I would tell them you will be waiting for the cops! They cannot do a thing. Payday loans are illegal in many states now, and no AG or law enforcement agency is going to act on any kind of payday loan collection.
